James H. Carlisle of Woffofd and Dr. C. H. Judson of Furman, both venerable great hearted educators, were brought to the platform and introduc ed to the assembly. As it looked up' on these two men than whom no living man has dona more for the higher, deeper interests of South Carolina, the convention was visi ply Affected.
