lit accordance with tlie Act to raise
supplies for tin* fiscal year commencing
January 1st, 1904. notice in hereby given
that the books will he open for collect
ing ^t*te, county anil school taxes from
October I h, 1906 to March 1st. 1906. A
penalty of 1 per cent will he Added on
all taxes unpaid hy January 1st, 1906.
A penalty of two per cent on all unpaid
hy Feb. 1 at i H>06, A penalty of seven
per cent will he added on all unpaid
March 1st. 1906

All male persona living within the
corporate limits of cities or towns, ntu
dents attending any college or school of
the State. Ministers in charge of r? gu
lar congregations. , teachers employed in
public, schools, Hchonl trustees during
their term of office, persons permanent
ly disabled and those actually engaged
in the quarantine service of the state are
exempt from the payment of road tax.
All other male persons between the ages
of IK and <r>0 vears are required to pay
said rowl tax or work not less than six
days during the year.
The poll tax is $1.
All information as to taxes will be
furnished upon application .
No lints of names for tax receipts will
he recieved unless the amount of tax
money is deposited with the said list.
This rule will he strictly enforced
