Mies Mary Horton, formerly of
Abbeville pounty but now of Ker
shaw, Has id her possession a pair
of scissors given to her by the moth
er of John (J. Calhouu. Miss Hor
ton is a sister of Mrs. Burwell Jonec,
widow of Col. Burwell Jones, of
Kershaw. She says Mrs. Calhoun
gave her the scissors with the re
quest that she take care of them
and so highly does she prize them
that money cannot buy them.
