years. She jo ned the Baptist church

Hal few women deserve more honor
and credit than she. The writer knew
her personally aud aho was faithful,
jaft and true, both to her feilow man

one to look to for help or support.
No tongue can tell, or any heart
feel and know the sorrows nnd priva
tions of sister Atkinson but her own
and now it is silent in death. She
has fought well the battles of life,
now sho baa goue to bur reward.
Her illness was of short duration,
her Lord did not intend for her to
suitor long beforo Ho took her.
Sho passed away Idee one entering
into a sweot sleep Her romains were
laid to rest at Anfioeh church on
' Monday evening, April the 3rd.
All of her childron were present
and a large circle of sorrowing friends
and relatives were there to pay her
