O. Carri son's Hermitage plantation

w&e burned last Tuesday night to
gether with about six hundred bush
els of corn and a pood deal of fodder
andJnjuring two males. The fire is
thought to be of incendiary origin.
A Serious Accident.
We regret to learn that on Sat
urday night last Mr. "Shell'' West,
?on " of nur highly esteemed fellow
citizen Mr. J. F. Weat met with the]
very great misfortune of getting
one of his legs bioken. Mr. West
wan returning home from Camden
inrt the mule he was driving took
fright, and running away threw Mi.
We&t out of the buggy inflicting j
the injury stated above.
