Died of His Injuries
Anderson, Speciai. ? Sylvester Broton,
colored, who was shot by Ben Lock
hart, also colored, at a hot supper,
near Starr, several weeks ago, died
Saturday ntglty. The verdict of the
coroner's Jury was that the deceased
oame to his death as the result pf a
pistol shot wound at the hands of
I/)ckhart. Ix>ckhart fled the night of
the shooting, but was captured soon
aftor In Blbert county,' Georgia. He
was brought back hore and lodged in
Jail, where he has been since1 awaiting
the result of Browri'a injuries. Ho will
now be held for trial on a charge of

Mr. Frank Stewart, a young man who
