There has not. been anything like
the equivalent of theec* high prices
dnce the last week In January, 1901,
when option and spot cotton in this

January of that year In this market at
i 12.75 cents, and ahijuit 7 pence per
pound at Liverpool, after a prolonged <
session of hull speculation.
