A moat pitiable part ef this un
fortunate occurrence was the
killing of an unknown white man ?
a tramp ? who wad walking up the
railroad and being tired stopped to
rest under a box oar in the aiding
and ia thought to have been aeleep.
Ho had by hia aide a telescope va
lise in which were some clothes,
a razor, razor strap and a testa
ment. On a fly leaf in the testa
ment was written : "Mias Terah
Moore, Shelby Qikv, Ky?" aud
down in one, corner of the same
leaf wae written: "Always do good
for evil. Mama." And in one
of his pockets was the lollowlng
recommendation :
"To whom it may concern : ?
This is to cettify that the bearer,
Charley Kiecnhardt hns worked for
urfe two years, and I take pleasure
(in recommending him to anyone
needing a good all-round-man. lie
