Juvenile Reformatory.
The Stale's Juvenile Reform*
atory has boon opened. The uew
institution is located upon the
State's Lexington farms about five
miles from Columbia. The boys
heretofore confined in the Statu
penitentiary have been removed
from there and placed in the re
formatory. Hereafter the youth
ful criminals will not have to come
in contact with the older and more
hardened criminals. There nre now
about 18 in the uew institution.
