Mr. W. A. Ohilds, who married
Miss Pearl Fori, and rcaidod at
liutlcr, Gal, died one day this week.
Deceased was a orolhcr-in law of
Mrs. lieuiah McDowell and leaves
two children, both hoys, the young

Mrs. Mary Ross, wife of Mr. J no.
T. Ross, of West Wateree, died
very suddenly Sunday afternoon
last about 5 o'clock. Mr. Roes was
sitting chatting pleasantly with
her family, and gelling up,said hhe
had a sevi'ie pain in her throat and
died immediately. She was 57
years of age and leaves a husband
'and four children?three daughters
and one son. The funeral was held
at Union church f Tuesday at 11
o'clock^and the Interment at the
old family burying ground. She
has a host of friende to mourn her
death.
Mr. James Love, father-in-law of
Mr. Wiley Sheorn, died in Monroe,
N. C., yesterday morning about 1
o'elcck.at the advanced age of 89
years. Mr. Love's body was
brought immediately to Camden
over the S. C. <k G. Ex. railroad
and interred in the Camden ceme
tery yesterday afternoon about 2
o'clock. The remains were accom
panied by two of Mr. Love'e grand
sons. Deceased was kind-hearted
and generous to a fault, and in this
county and town wheic many years
of his life were spout he has scores
of friends who will learn with sin
