To provide a license for all
Fire Insurance Agents doing
business within the corpor
ate limits of the city of Cam
den, 8. C., an 1 to provide a
penally for the violation
thereof.
He it ordained by the Mayor and Al
dermen of the city of Canide", 8. C.. in
Council assembled, mid by the authority
thereof:
Sec. I. That from and after ?lie rati
fication of this ordinance, no person or
firm shall solicit or write, as agent or
otherwise, any policy or contract of In
surance for any Fire Insurance Company
within the corporate limits of the City
of Camden. S. C?. without first obtaipinc
from the Clerk of aaid city a l'cem^Cau
thorizing the doing of fluid husineau, and
paying therefor, bunw said license is
delivered, the ? urn of Fifty (50.00) per
annum for each and every Company
which said agent may represent, or in
whoae name aaid policy or contract is
