"Mr. Thomas Wilson, of Salem,
S. C. president of the Wilson and
Snmraorton Railroad, was in tho
cilv on business yesterday.
. President Wilson informs ug
that his road is to be extended
from Sumter to Camden, a distance
of thirty*one miles. At present
the road runs from Wilson, Clsren
don County, S. C., on the Central
Railioad of South Carolina, to
Sumter, forty-one miles, io that
the extension will mak^'the road
seventy-two miles ifi" length. It
will run through a fln^ country, and
with (he relations existing it will
give the Atlantic, Coast Line an
outlet through upper South Caro
lina and Western North Carolina

ton Railroad, which/ runs from
Camden, S. C., to Marion, N. C.
