Death.
Mies Mo Icy Baker died at her
homo on lower Broad street, Cani
deu, on last Sunday night. De
ceased was a quiet, unostentatious
and* estimable christian ladv. She
had hern sick for a long while but
bore her aillictioii with christian
fortitude. The funeral took jonce
at 11 o'clock on Mouday at the
Baptist church of which she has
long 'been a consistent member.
The burial was at the cemetery.
After an illness of several months

2 1st of December at the home of lur
parents, Mr. and Mrs. T. P. Evans.
Diceased was about tbiiteen and
one half months of age. The burial
took place in the cometerv at High
Hill Churoh near Luck now, ?iee

and those who only own personal property
to give the party's name who owns the
land they live oil, and in ea??h and every
case to nuine the No,- of School District
the property is in.

the 1st day of January, i80A, must lie re
turned for taxation ; and all changcs or
transfers of real estate noted.

ty.'' Any real estate acquired or trans
ferred since last returns should be entered
in columns for that purpose giving name
