Discover -d by a Woman.
Another great discovery has
been made, and that too, by a lady
in this country. "Disoaso fastened
its clutches upon her and for seven
years she withstood its severest
tests, but her vital organs wore tin
dei mined and death seemed immi
nent. For thrt'oNnonths she cough
ed incessantly, and ftfruld not sleep
She tlnally/diseovei'cn a way to re
covery, by purchasing of iih a bot
tle of I)r. King's New Discovery
for Consumption, and was so much
relieved on taking lirst dose th.it
she slept all night; and with two
bottles, has been absolutely cured.
Her name is Mrs. Luther Luiz."
Thus writes W. C. Hamnick A Co.,
of Shelby, N. C. Trial bottles free
at K. Leslie Zemp's Drtig Store.
Regular size M>c and *1 00. K.very

It is said that ever since Rebec
ca met Jacob at the well, mothers
have been taking their marriage
able daughters to watering-places.

i This is the beginning of another season with cotton at 4 and
1 5 cents per pound. This means cheap goods or no sale. I
Shave got the goods oncl they have got to sold and as I have
[always said I never allow anyone to undersell me, the uv>ney
is what 1 want and that 1 am gui^g to have if you come in my
store. I have a big stock as usual, Iresh and nice: never have,,
f and old stale stock.
FRESH GOODS
coming in every day. I went in business in IS1M when cotton was
about the same price it is now and 1 am still here doing my
share; some predicted that I would not pull through that sea
son. Low priced cotton don't frighten me, I have gone through
a hotter battle than thin. I sold my good* for such small pro
Jfits, I find that it pays to make small profits and quipk Bales. I
have kept it up and I don't won't to change it. .1 will say to
those who have stores in the country tocoir.ein 1 will divide
the profits with you as I have always done. Some business
bouses may tell you they carry a larger stock than I do; you :fc
can say to them you get more for a dollar
AT HINSON'S
than you get from them, it make but little differonee to yon
how much stock they carry. What yon want is all yrou can
get for yonr money. I am ratified with the past and I know I
will be with the future for 1 am working just as hard for y?ur
trade as I ever did. Come on you will find me at the same
place.
y Yours Respectful I v,
