pox in IClikwiuid, just above .Cam
den. There is no truth whatever
in the report. Drs. Moore and
Corbet t made an examination of
the ease and we are informed that
they re poil the disease as more of
the nature of consumption than
small pox.
Quarantine.
The Mayor of Camden, together
with the town Hoaul of Health has
quarantined against Columbia and
Sumter which places arc seriously in
fected with small pox. This octioA,
on the part of the proper authorities
is highly opportune. Every precau
tion should be taken to keep this
* 'terrible disease) e>ut of our town.
