Mr. Editor: I happened to be
at the upper edge of Sumter coun
ty yesterday and saw some cotton
sales receipts held by persons who
sold in Camden that dny. They
got 5.90, while at Surntor same dny
the highest paid was 5.00; 30
points difference ? this is strange.

friends who will learn with tho deep,

with masonic honors #ft Kershaw on
Sunday afternoon in the presence of
an unusually large concourse of sor
rowing friends and relatives. A
special train was run from Camden
to Kershaw on , Sunday for his
friends here to attend the funeral.
