to tho Columbia Registei last
Tuesday says:
41 "The community was Baddoned
lato this aftornoon to hear of the
doath of young Mrs. ?J. Clifton
Dinkins, wli^e death, however was
not unexpected. Mrs. Dink ins
leaves a husband and a young
child to mourn her fate, beside
many relatives and friends of both
herself and her husband."
Mrs. Dinkins was tho daughter
of Mr. John YV. Young, of Rem
belts, to whom and other relatives

Mr, W. D. Marshall's Barn Burned.
On last Sundatf morning about
8 o'^lo^Jc Mr. YV. I). Marshall's
barn containing 000 bushels
of corn, and under the sheds of
which was stored fi^vje tons of
guano, was completely destroyed
by Are. Mr. Marshall has no idea
how the firo originated, lie had
been out to feed his stock only a
short time before the fire was dis
covered. The loss is quite heavy
and wo regret exceedingly to learn
.of his misfortune. There ?was no
insurance.
