two special reasons the first

from people in regard to mag
istrates and if this act was
passed he would have no win
of getting an incapable man
out of the ollice. It will be re
membered that the house re
jected this part of the law, but
? it was afterwards put in by the
conference committee and so
got through.
The second objection to the
act was that after the senate
iiad rejected a magistrate he
could not be reappointed.
