purchased to bo used at tho Cotton Ex
position at Chicago, and tho appropri

Tho sentiment of tho House against
executive appropriations Was, however,

propriation bill was tackled again and
oro long the college appropriation was
reached. Then, not withstanding the
fart that the oommittee in rocommend
ing an appropriation of $25,000 fur j

siderable cut in the appropriation of
