30th ult., Miss Hallie Kvans, of
Smithville, and Mr. W. T. McLeod,
of Ar.lioch. The ceremony was
performed by Rev. J. B. Kushton,
and toek place at the residence of
j he bride's father Mr. J. D. Kvans.
Miss Hallie has for some tune been
one of>r valued correspondents
whose interesting communications

trust that her new duties and re

ing the halloween party at Mr. L.
McL. DrcwnV, and must say that
it was a great pleasure for vourold
acribe to he there. We will try to

first part was fortune telling -"by!
the Gypsy from Europe which was
very interesting. Most of the !;o)s
would go to have their foitune told
just to get to talk to her. Next

dies. There were tickets given to

them and the same to the gentle
men, and then the gentlemen had

found the girl that had the num

but most of them thought too
