Money for Soldiers.
Confederate soldiers who lost a
leg or arm in the late- war and who
are entitled to. a part of the fund
appropriated by the Legislature for
supplying artificial limbs will find
blank applications in the hands of
the Cierk of Court. Only those
who received a part of t/no appro
priation of 18T9 can apply f ir a
part of this fund. The amount is
about one-four ill of the sum previ
ously appropriated.

A change of schedule went into
effect on the S. C. road last Mon
day, the 3rd inst, whereby the
early morning train whtfiji left
Camdien at 7:20 a. ra., and the
night passenger which arrived at
Camden at 11:20 p. m. are discon
tinued. Passengers for Colombia
will now leave C^tcden at 4:55 p.
m. and arrive tr-ore at 7 :45. From
Colombia to Camden, you leave j
there at 9:00 a. m> and arrive at
11:30. The other trains continue!
to run as in the past. The change j
was causod by the decrease in bus- ;
iness since the d]S.ll season bas com-j

gers required every voter to pre

voting who were iu favor of it, and
some few also were opposed to it.
