Mr Hiratn Stoke*, a highly re
spected citizen of Eastern Kershaw,
died on the 12th ir.st.. in the 80th
year of his agp. He was interred
the next in the family burying
grounds, in the presence of a large
concourse of relatives and neigh
bors.
Mi*s Nancy Thompson, * very(
old maiden lady, died at her home
near Roland on the 13th inst., from
paralysis. She war, at the time of
her death, nearly 75 years of age,'
and had been for a number of years
a consistent member of the Metho
dist church.
