this morning after a long illness.
He is survived by his widow, Mrs.
Margaret Gaillard Lenoir; three sons,
Walter M. Lenoir, Jr., Sumter; D. G.
Lenoir, Newark, N. J.; S D Lenoir,
Sumter; one sister, Mrs. C. W. Sund
ers, Hagood. I
The funeral services were held at
4:30 Monday afternoon at tl,o Church
of the Ascension, Hagood. Interment
will be in the churdhyard. The Rev.
George H. Harris will be assisted by
the Rev. J. B. Walker in conducting
tho services.

The Marine Coups accepts only
young men who are graduates of high
school or have equivalent or (higher ed
ucation at other schools, and who arc
not less than 66 inches tall, and who
are over 18 years of age. If undai
21 years old consent of parents is re
quired.
The Savannah office considers ap
plicants from Virginia, North and
South Carolina, Florida and South
Georgia, and is the only office where
applicants in these States are exam
ined. Applications will be mailed up
on request.
