In the living1 room where the fablea were placed lovely roses, lavendav and yellow flowers- ?were used. The bride's place was marked with a, corsagv of rosebuds. After card-, were laid aiide little Claudia Birc'i.' more and Frances McCorkle brought in a tray of lovely and useful gifts for the bride-to-be. High score for the afternoon wus made by Aliss Williu Haile. Consolation prize was cut by Mrs. L P Tobin. Miss Parler the honor guest was presented with a gift. Delightful refreshmnts c?>r sisting of chicken-salad, hot roll*, sandwiches, cakes and coffee werv served by the hostess assisted by her sister and Mrs. F. Dess Goodale. MISS STERNE HOSTESS.
