Notice is hereby given that the Au
ditor's Office will be open for receiv
ing Tax Returns from January 1st,
1982, to March 1st, 1932. A U persons
owning real estate or personal prop
erty must make returm of tne same
within said period, as required by
law, or be subject to a penalty of
10 per cent.
The Auditor will attend in person
or by deputy at the following places
in the county on the dates indicated
for receiving returns:
Bethune ? January 13th and 14th.
Raley's Mill ? January 16th.
Westville ? January 19th*
Blaney ? January 21st and 22nd.
Liberty Hill ? January 20th.
Kershaw ? January 28th and 29th.
All persons between the ages of 2f
and 60 years, inclusive, are required
to pay a poll tax, and all persons be
tween the ages of 21 and 50 years,
inclusive, are required to pay a Road
tax, unless excused by law. All
Trustees, Guardians, Executors, Ad
ministrators or Agents holding prop
perty in charge must return same.
Parties sending tax returns by mail
must make oatn to same before some
officer and? fill out the same in prop
er manner or they will be rejected.

be submitted promptly as during the
past three years three times as many
younft men applied as could be ac
comodated.
The Government pays all expense?.

and in the hall.

and invited Bert in, while Alice ran

Bert declined, for he^ had played
foot-ball thait afternoon and was
tired. "I'll oome for Alice when you
call" were his parting words.
