been a liberal feeder. The stingy feed

In feeding trials with dairy cattle
covering three years, It was found that
corn silage wns 1 per cent more valu
able than kaflr silage, and kaflr silage
was 10 per cent more valuable than

per acre was considered, however, the
cane silage led the corn and knflr on
account of the greater yield. L'slnc

duce 30, 000 pounds of mllk when fed

fresh will give a better flow of mllk

to decrease during the latter part of
