Mr. Timmons and the child were in the yard when the cloud was rising and James started to take up a horse that.was grazing near by when he was struck and was dead when Mr. Timmons reached 'iim. James was a bright child and was loved by all who knew him. He made the tiip alone from St. Louis, Mo., to Patrick when only five years >f age.
