The York News makes the bell ring.
"We certainly believe in buying at
home/' it says, "but if the merchant
at borne doesn't tell the people about
his goods, how can he censure people
for going to a more progressive
town?" The best way to get the people
to "buy at home" is to have the
goods the people want, and then take

sharp enough to keep his prcperty

British newspapers this morning apparently
are eager to regard the report

the surrender of this stronghold was
but a matter of a few days.
Unofficial reports from Paris Indicate
that relations between Italy and
Austria are becoming still more unsettled.

between Italy and Austria
and Germany Is in doubt, one report
saying Emjieror Francis Joseph virtually
