BETTER PAINT
Better paint this year if your property
needs it. Mistaken men have
ibeen waiting for paint to come-down.
'The cost of their job has gone-up not
down; it always goes-up by waiting;
.never comes down.
Suppose you had waited 20 or 30
.years ago for a better paint than. De
voe; how long would he have waited?
How long would he still have to
wait?
The price a gallon makes some
difference; yes, but not much; it's
the paint that counts; the quality
counts.
It's the go-far that counts. Protection
of property counts more yet.

Many large manufacturers who have
^ designed accident prevention devices
^ for their own use have not patented
them in order that others may utilize
their ideas. A large railroad company
which has designed all of the accident
prevention apparatus in use in its machine
shops is willing to furnish blueprints
of the devices to those who de?ire
to install them in their plants.

Fewer Study for Ministry.
Statistics show that in the early
days of American colleges about onehalf
the graduates adopted the ministry
as a profession. At the present
time only about five per cent of the
college graduates become ministers.

DON'T TAKE CALOMEL HERE'S A
BETTER REMEDY
Taking calomel is mighty risky and
often times dangerous.
You ought to get along without
take calomel yourself or giving it to
your family, when you can get a remedy
that takes its place. Dodson's
Liver Tone is an agreeable vegetable
liquid that starts the liver to action
just as surely as calomel does. But,
unlike calomel, Dodson's Liver Tone
does not stimulate the liver too much.
It gives relief gently. Calomel acts
so strongly that it may leave you
woree than you were at first, and calomel
also sometimes causes salivation.
Dodson's Liver Tone works
well and never harms.
A laree bottle of Dodson's Liver
Tone is sold for fifty cents by J. T.
Lodd. It always has given such perfect
satisfaction that your money will
be given back to you with a smile if
you buy a bottle and are not perfectly
satisfied with it in every way.
THE NEW FABLE OF THE LIFE OF
THE PARTY.
One Night a Complimentary Dinner
was given to a Captain of Industry
by some Friends looking for Orders.
The Chairman of the Arrangements
Committee was a popular Wine-Pusher,
consequently the volunteer Search
Parties were out for Three Days after,
gathering up the Dead.
Along about 10:30, when every Perfect
Gentleman was neatly Stewed and
each Chandelier was doing a sinuous
Salome in time with the Hungarian
Orchestra, a Man connected with the
Jobbing Trade got up to say a Few
Words.
He was keyed to Concert Pitch and
the Audience was Piped and all the
old sure-fire Bokum of a Sentimental
Nature simply Killed them in their
Seats.
When he Concluded, the hilarious
Bun Brothers, with the mussed-up
Hair and the twisted Shirt Bosoms, ,
arose to their Feet and waved Nap-1
kins and gave the Orator what he described
to his Wife at 2 A. M. as A I
Novation.
