Lt. and Mrs. Bruce Mills of Springfield, Ohio have arrived here for the holidays with his mother, Mrs. J.B. Patterson and Mr. Patterson and with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Carl Sease in Joanna. Mr. and Mrs. Lindy Barlowe and daughters, Misses Debbie and Cindy Barlowe spent the weekend in Rockmart, Ga. with Mrs. Barlowe’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Virgil Reed. Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Seay and Miss Teresa Seay spent Sunday at Fort Jackson in Col umbia with their son and brother Pvt. Randy Seay. Pvt. Seay ar rived home Tuesday to spend the holidays with his parents. Debbie, Renee and Mickey James of Prosperity are spend ing part of the holidays with their grandmother, Mrs. Mark Conner. Cindy and Frankie McElhan- non of Greenwood spent the weekend with their grand mother, Mrs. Bernice McEl- hannon. Their parents, Mr. and Mrs. McElhannon spent Sunday with his mother, coming to ac company their children home. Mrs. Lottie Birch is a pa tient in Bailey Memorial Hos pital. Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Tram mell, Miss Eeroline Seay and Maxie Seay attended the Seay family Christmas get-to-gether at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Royce Smith near Laurens. Sunday. Sammy Ellison of near Clin ton has been visiting Mike South a few days. Pfc. Timmy Sanders of Fort Ord, Calif, is home for tlie Christmas holidays with his pa rents, Rev. and Mrs. M.J. San ders. Renee Sanders of near Clinton spent Sunday night with her grandparents, Rev. and Mrs. Sanders. Steve Grady, student at West ern Carolina University in Cul- lowhee, N.C. is spending the holidays with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Claude Grady. Mr. and Mrs. Jon Koenig and sot of Indiana will be here Thurs day for Christmas with her pa rents, Mr. and Mrs. Grady. Malcolm Sanders with Bruce Simpson of Cross Hill are vi siting the formers grandmother Mrs. N.J. Sanders in Jackson ville, Fla. for a few days. FAMILY GET TO GETHER Mr. and Mrs. J.B. CLASS PARTY The Willing Workers Class of the Lydia Baptist Sunday School enjoyed a Christmas party and covered dish supper last Thursday evening. After several games, gifts were exchanged from under the gaily lighted tree in the churcli social hall. PARTIES ENJOYED DURING WEEK The Intermediate Department of the Lydia Baptist Sunday School enjoyed a Christmas party in the lovely decorated social hall of the church on Friday evening. Games, contests and good eats were enjoyed by the group. The teachers and officers, Mr. Ray Riley, Mrs. Verner Dees, Mrs. E.C. Burdette, Mrs. Houston Ellis and Frank Gas kins were hosts for the occa sion. The Single Young People of the Baptist Young People De partment enjoyed a Christmas party at the home of Mrs. Clyde Trammell on Saturday evening. Games were enjoyed and la ter refreshments were served from the buffet table by candle light. The home was decorated throughout in the Christmas motif. Mrs. Jimmy South and Mr. and Mrs. James McElhannon assisted in entertaining. GOSS FAMILY GET TO GETHER Gathering at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Goss on Sunday for a pre-Christmas dinner were, Mr. and Mrs. War ren Goss and Bryan and Wells Goss of Tucker, Ga., Jerry Goss ofLawrenceville, Ga., Mr. and Mrs. Paul Hall of Augusta, Ga., Mrs. Dorthy Williams and Ralph Prince of Ninety Six, Mr. and Mrs. Curtis Salters and Don Salters of Joanna and Mr. and Mrs. Gary Goss, Gary II and Amy. Mr. and Mrs. James King and children of Charleston are expected to arrive Friday to visit her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Goss. BIRTHDAYS AND ANNIVERSARIES Dianne Meeks will be 8 years old on Christmas Day. Celebrating birthdays on Dec. 27 will be Mrs. San Prince, Andy Ellis and Steve Lawson. Lewis Meeks and Mrs. Sam Prince will observe their birth days Dec. 29. Also Mrs. Royce Smith. Mrs. W.N. Nabors will cele brate her birthday on Christ mas Day. She and Mr. Nabors will observe their wedding anni versary on Dec. 28. Miss Janet Sanders will have a birthday Dec. 30. Mr. and Mrs. David Hughes will observe their wedding an niversary Dec. 25. Billy Abercrombie and Cyn thia White will celebrate their birthdays Dec. 28. Mr. Frank Pace will observe his birthday Dec. 31. Casey Bearden of Aiken is spending the Christmas holi days with his grandmother, Mrs. Ralph Bearden. The Kinard families enjoyed a Christmas dinner on Sunday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Kinard. Recently Mr. and Mrs. Art hur Davis visited W.H. Wyatt in Spartanburg. Hughes of Clinton and Mr. and Mrs. Car- roll Smith of Mountville were supper guests of Rev. and Mrs. James T. Hughes and family in Gray Court Saturday night. CHRISTMAS PARTY The Campbell’s held their annual Christmas party on Sun day at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Mike Campbell at Cayce. All the Campbells’ were there. Mr. and Mrs. Murray Adams at tended. WITH THE SICK Willie Dominick and family are ill with virus at home. Leo Heatherly has returned home after being a patient at Self Memorial Hospital in Greenwood. Mrs. Janie Freeman is a patient at Bailey Memorial Hos pital. BARBERY CHRISTMAS DINNER The Barbery Christmas dinner was held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Alford Barbery near Simpsonville, Sunday. All brothers and sisters and fami lies were there. Those from Clinton who attended were Mrs. Gaynelle Kohn and daughters, Debbie and Bobbin, and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Cannon and sons, Keith and Jeff.
