Boazman attended the funeral
of Mrs. Ruby Parter Noffz in
Ninety Six last Monday. Mrs.
Noffz was the widow of W. O.
Noffz, a Cross Hill native who
died eight months ago.
Miss Lois Timmerman is a
patient in Self Memorial
Hospital where she underwent
eye surgery last week.
Ernie Segars, a student at
Wofford College was in Boone,
N. C. over the weekend for
the Appalachian State-Wofford
football game. Wofford won its
nineteenth consecutive game by
a score of 37 to 13.
A number of people from
Cross Hill are taking part in
the Tricentenial festivities in
Laurens and surrounding coun
ties. In the Cross Hill area
visitors are seeing the J. H.
Coleman house, Liberty Spring
and Carter’s well where Jeffer
son Davis stopped.
Mr. and Mrs. BobSegarsand
Lindy spent Sunday in the Caro
lina mountains.
Rev. W. W. Willingham is
improved after being ill at his
home.
