Hospital in Greenwood after
undergoing surgery on his
broken arm last wee’c. He is
an employee of Clinton Mill.

U. S. Marine Corp. is spending
leave with his parents, Mr.
and Mrs. Johnny Davis, Tribble
Street, Clinton, before leaving
for a tour of duty in Vietnam.
PFC Davis, attended Bell St.
High before entering the ser
vice June 30th. He received his
basic training at Paris Island,
S. C. and trained as a heli
copter machine gunner in
Memphis, Tennessee.

Sara Jackson of Clinton was
elected as a campus usher at
Coker College recently.
The daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
Welden T. Jackson of Route 1,
Clinton, she is one of ten girls
who were elected to represent
their classes as ushers. Miss
Jackson is a sophomore at
Coker.
Marine Sgt. David L. Bond,
son of Mr. Louis J. Bond of
