Gregory Enlists
Paul “Eddie" Gregory, son
of Mr. and Mrs. James E.
Gregory of Clinton, enlisted
in the U. S. Navy October 28,
1970. Gregory selected and was
qualified for theNavy’sNuclear
Program, which allowed him to
enlist in the advanced pay grade
of E-3.
After Recruit Training in Or
lando, Florida, Seaman Gre
gory will attend one of the
Navy’s basic schools. Upon
completation of this school, he
will be automatically advanced
to pay grade E-4, and will
continue his training by attend
ing the Basic Nuclear Power
and operational training on a
