Mrs. Shirley Robertson and son, Scott, of Greenville spent a few days last week with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. L. C. Heaton. On Saturday Mr. and Mrs. Hilton Pruitt and family of Aiken visited his parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Pruitt. Mrs. Edna Heaton spent the week-end in Greenville with her sister and brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Vaughn and family. Mrs. C. W. Windsor and Sy bil visited The Edgar Brazill’s in Columbia last Friday. Week-end guests of Mrs. L. H. Pearson were Mrs. Ethel Painter and daughter, Paula, Mrs. Gail Adams and daught er, and Mrs. Verly Painter and children of Gaffney. Mr. and Mrs. Hubert Leopard were called to Saluda Wednes day due to the illness and death of his father, Mr. George Leo pard. Mr. and Mrs. C. A. Pear son and sons of Columbia spent the week-end with her mother, Mrs. Mary Martin. Robbie Laney of Greenville spent the week-end with his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Laney. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Adams were in Saluda Thursday night due to the death of Mr. George J. Leopard. BIRTHDAY SUPPER Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Windsor on Saturday were Mr. and Mrs. Bill Lindler and grandchildren of Whitmire. Mr. and Mrs. Claude Floyd of Royston, Georgia spent last Monday with his sister and brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. L. C. Heaton. Mr. and Mrs. Clifton Hea ton, Sr. and family and Cecil Adams were called to Saluda Wednesday afternoon due to the death of Mrs. Heaton’s grand father, Mr. George J. Leopard. Mrs. Clifton Heaton Sr. and children visited her sister and brother-in-law. Mr. and Mrs. Jim Derrick and sons at Pros perity, Sunday afternoon. WITH THE SICK Mrs. Annie Stone and Mrs. Martha Barbery are patients at Bailey Memorial HospitaL Mrs. W. M. Rochester is ill at her home on North Broad Street. REVIVAL Revival services will begin Wednesday night, October 13, and run through Sunday, Octo ber 17, at the Church of God of Prophecy on North Sloan Street. Services will begin each even ing at seven-thirty and will fea ture “The Challenger’s*. GOSPEL SINGING The Church of God of Pro phecy on North Sloan Street will hold its regular third Saturday night of the month gospel singing on October 16 at 7:30 p.m. Local and out of town singers will be present BIRTHDAYS Mrs. Margaret Hedgepath will observe her birthday Octo ber 14.
