r News of Joanna BY MRS. W. J. HOGAN Mr. and Mrs. Carl Riser were dinner guests last Sun day of Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Riser In Greenville. Mr. and Mrs. Grover Adair visited Mr. and Mrs. John Richardson in Lexington on Thursday and on Saturday they were visitors In Greenville. Mr. and Mrs. Marion Boyce, Don and Ray spent last week end in Atlanta with Mr. and Mrs. Ray Boyce. RECEIVED DISCHARGE Neal Hall, who served four years in the U. S. A. F. was discharged recently in Arkan sas. He and Mrs. Hall are mak ing their home in Joanna on the Whitmire Highway. Danette Baker of Ninety-Six spent the week-end here with Mrs. Alice Davenport. Mr. and Mrs. Elbert Boyce visited Mr. and Mrs. GuyMis- enheimer on Sunday afternoon. Mrs. Virgie Garner is still a patient at the Bailey Memorial HospitaL Miss Cindy Prater was a guest over the week-end of Dr. and Mrs. Richard Wilson and family in Spartanburg. Miss Melanie Prater spent the week-end in Laurens with Mr. and Mrs. Sammy Strick land. After en joying the game they spent the night at the Holiday Inn, North- West and returned on Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Rafe Boyce, Beth and Dalton of Sumter spent the week-end here. Week-end guests of Mr. and Mrs. Ben Jester were their daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Neal Smith and child ren of Columbia, and Mrs. Jesters’ sister, Mrs. L. 0. Spivey of Anderson. Mrs. Estes Vaughan of Rachael, West Virginia arriv ed on Wednesday to spend a tew weeks with her son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Howard Vaughan and with Mrs. Annie Thomas. EDMONDS REUNION The Edmonds Reunion was held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Leroy Pace on the Spart anburg highway near Clinton on Sunday. Enjoying the fellow ship were Mrs. L. D.
