children, Marty and Stacy. They
visited Wilmington, NorthCar-
ollna while they were at the
beach. The Hartsells are from
Simpsonville.

CLASS MEETING
The Darcus Bible class of
Calvary Baptist Church held
its regular monthly meeting
Tuesday night, August 18, at
7:30 at the Clinton Community
Building.
The meeting was opened with
devotion by Mrs. Leo
Heatherly. After the business
session of the meeting, Mrs.
Bea Hardman then served a
plate of refreshment to the
ladies.
The meeting was closed with
prayer by Mrs. Hardman.
Mrs = Glenda Dominick and
Mrs. Pat Nabors celebrated
their birthdays with a party at
the Carousel Shoppe on Satur
day, August 23.
Refreshments of cheese bis
cuits, sandwiches, cake and
punch were served to a number
of friends and neighbors who
dropped in to help celebrate.

Homecoming services at Fair-
view Baptist Church Sunday.
The morning worship service
was at 11 A.M., Rev. Alfred
Fisher, pastor presided. Visi
tors were welcomed by Mrs.
Billy Wyatt. Mrs. James P.
Johnson, Jr. read the history.
Special music by Mrs. Ronnie
McQuirt and Mrs. Wayne Mc
Cullough accompanied at the
organ by Mrs. TlllmanCrapps.

ed the morning serman. Dinner
was served at 1 o’clock and in
the afternoon Rev. W. W. Will
ingham, a former pastor led a
song service.

orial Hospital.

turned home after being with
her sisters in Georgia several
weeks.
