returned to that city after
visiting Mr. and Mrs. Levester
Robinson and other relatives.
Mr. and Mrs. James Taylor
of Macon, Georgia were in the
city on the past week-end to
visit Miss Viola Taylor who
had returned home following a
hospital stay. Miss Taylor ac
companied them home where
she will visit during her re
cuperation period.

To Be Presented
The Amplified Message, a
mass-medium interpretation of
contemporary hit songs, will
be shown at the First Pres
byterian Church on Saturday,
August 8, at 8:00 p.m. This
unusual program utilizes the
latest audio-visual aides in de
picting man’s plight as reveal
ed in the words and meinings
of some of the most popular hit
songs of our day.
The Amplified Message was
developed by Mr. Bill Hawkof
Brewton, Alabama. Mr. Hawk
has presented the Amplified
Message to audiences through
out the southern states. Cur
rently he is on a tour of South
Carol ma.
Teenagers and adults will be
astonished to see and hear what
modern song writers and vo
calists are saying by the lyrics
of their songs. The public is
invited to view this new experi
ence in sight and sound.
