Piedmont Exhibiton Park on Ro
per Mountain.
Mr. and Mrs. Fred Anderson
and sons and Mr. and Mrs.
Jimmy Richie spent a few days
vacationing in Gatlinburg,
Tenn., last week.
Sgt. and Mrs. Coy O'Shields
and family have returned to
their home in Manassas, Va.,
after visiting her mother, Mrs.
Stella McLendon and other re
latives.
Mr. and Mrs. Llndy Barlowe
and Misses Debbie and Cindy
Barlowe and Vickie Wilson and
Russell Campbell spent several
days at Myrtle Beach last week.
Mr. and Mrs. Perry Parrish
and Tami vacationed at Silver
Springs, Fla., and surrounding
towns. They also enjoyed a tour
of the Budweiser Beer Plant in
Tampa, Fla, and Rainbow
Springs.
Mike Crawford vacationed at
Myrtle Beach part <>f last week.
Mr. and Mrs. Warren Goss
and Brian and Wells Goss of
Tucker, Ga., spent the weekend
with the Mr. Goss's parents,
Mr. and Mrs. Frank Goss. On
Saturday, July 4 they all en
joyed a picnic dinner at Green
wood State Park.
Mr. and Mrs. MelvinSeay and
family enjoyed several days of
camping at Clark Hill last week.
On Friday they visited Mr. and
Mrs. James Seay in Greenville.
Mr. and Mrs. William
Bowling and family vacationed
at St. Petersburg, Fla., last
week, they also visitedpointsof
interest enroute there and back.
Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Kuy
kendall ufColumbia were guests
of his parents, Mr. and Mrs.C.
R. Kuykendall during the week
end.
Mrs. Verner Dees spent last
week with her daughter, Mrs.
Kathleen Willard in Asheville,
N. C. and Bill Willard return
ed home with his grandmother
for a visit. During the week
they visited points of interest
through the mountains and also
attended the opening of The Wi
zard of Oz at Banner Elk, N. C.
Mrs. Tracy Dees and child
ren returned home Sunday after
joining S/Sgt. Dees in Hawaii
where he was on his R&R.
Art Sanders and Rudy Webb
were at Myrtle Beach for the
weekend.
Mrs. Lula Bishop spent the
weekend with her grandson, Mr.

Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Oakley
and family of Rock Hill visit
ed his mother, Mrs. Sidney
Oakley on last Thursday. Mitch
Oakley remained until Sunday
with his grandmother. Mr. and
Mrs. Marvin Abercrombie of
Fountain Inn visited Mrs. Oak-
lev on Saturday.
Mrs. Billy Dickerson and
daughter Leigh Ann are here
with Mrs. Mildred Dickerson
for six weeks while Sgt. Dick
erson is on duty in Ft. Bliss,
Tex.
Mr. and Mrs. Major Craw
ford spent a couple of days in
Nashville, Tenn., then they and
Mr. and Mrs. Terry Crawford
and Missy and Mr. and Mrs.
Reece Phillips went to Chatta
nooga, Tenn.,-for a few days
last week.
Mr. and Mrs. J. B. O’Shields
were guests of Mr. and Mrs.
Claude Pace in Hendersonville,
N. C. last week. They also vi
sited in Cherokee, N. C.

with his mother, Mrs. Ernest
