tion requires council to meet
once each month but I believe
that initially it will be necessary
to meet much more often than

Last Thursday and Friday
nights the Junior Class was im
mensely successful in its pre
sentation of “Up the Down Stair
case."
In her portrayal of the lead
ing character Sylvia Barrett,
Pam Shook was superb. Along
with Pam the other members of
the cast and the directors suc
ceeded in fill mg the high school
auditorium both nights.
Now that the juniors have tri
umphantly presented their play,
the Senior Class and the music
department have begun working
on the musical. This year they
will present “Oklahoma," which
is scheduled for May 7th, 8th,
and 9th.
Also on the agenda for the
music department this spring is
a concert to be presented by the
Glee Club on April 24. Mrs.
Diana Clements, the choral di
rector, will lead the 50-voice
chorus in a variety of songs
ranging from religious selections
to popular selections.
