ings, 55, of the Saluda section,
died Tuesday. He was a half-
brother of Mrs. Sallie Mae Bag-
well of Clinton.
Other survivors include his
wife, a sister, two other half-
sisters.

ducted Wednesday at Blyth Fun
eral Home with burial in Mt.
Olive Baptist Church cemetery
near Ware Shoals.
Blulord Simpson
Bluford Simpson, 60, diedSun-
day.
A native of Laurens County,
he was a son of Douglas and
Hattie Hill Simpson. He was em
ployed by Pitts Market.
Surviving are six brothers,
Timp, Hubert, Colie, Ephraim,
Henry, and Ed Simpson of Clin
ton; five sisters, Mis. Mary Hair
of Greenville and Miss Willie Mae
Simpson, Miss Era Simpson,
Mrs. Annie Leake, and Mrs. Lu
cinda Simmons, of Clinton.
Funeral services were con
ducted Tuesday at 3 p.m. at
Fairview A.M.E. Church. Bur
ial was in the church ceme
tery.
Mrs. Barrett
WOODRUFF-Mrs. June Ful
mer Barrett, 57, of 516 Mea-
dowbrook Ave., died Wednesday,
Nov. 12. She was a sister of
Mrs. Pearl Lunsford of Clinton
and James Fulmer of Joanna.
Other survivors include her
husband, a daughter, two other
brothers, and a grandchild.
Funeral services were conduc
ted at 4 p.m. Friday at Emma
Gray Methodist Church with bu
rial in Greenhaven Memorial
Gardens.
Lanford-Boyter Mortuary was
in charge of arrangements.

Ernest David McCullough, 66,
of 404 Wes: Pitts St., died Sat-
u'diy.
A native of Eastman County,
Ga., son of the late Henry and
Bessie Skelton Me Cullough, he
was a retired employe of Clin
ton Mills and a member of Cai-
vary Baptist Church.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs.
Lila Howard M"Cullough; a son,
Earl D. McCullough of Martins-
burg, W. Va.; two daughters,
Mrs. H. D. Watson of Columbia
and Mrs. Richard Harris of
Greenwood; two sisters, Mrs.
Estelle McCullough of Iva and
Mrs. Dora Anderson ofElberton,
G?.; a brother, C B. M'Cullough
of Eiberton; and seven grand
children.

Hope AME Church.

at 3:30 p.m. at New Hope AME
Church, Mountville. Burial was

James (Jimmy) Richard Roch
ester, 22, of Rt 2, Clinton, WJiit-
mire Highway, died Sunday.
He was a lifelong resident of
Laurens County, a son of Rich
ard M. and Alma Blanche Bobo
Rochester. He was formerly em
ployed by Empress Homes and
was a member of Milam Road
Church of God.
Surviving also are a sister,
Mrs. Edna Burden of Clinton;
and grandmothers, Mrs. M. B.
Rochester of Clinton and Mrs.
Annie Bobo of Woodruff.
Funeral services were con
ducted Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Mi
lam Road Church of God. Burial
was in Rosemont Cemetery.

Hughes, 71, of Hopewell Road,
died Sunday.
She was a native of Lexington,
but had lived for two years with
her sister, Mrs. Fred Harris.
She was a daughter of the late
Luther and Belvie Koon Amick.

sisters, Mrs. Bessie McCartha
of Lexington and Mrs. James
Enlow of Batesburg; and a bro
ther, Henry Amick of Gilbert

died early Tuesday. Funeral ser
vices were held at 2 p.m. Wed
nesday at Spring Hill, with Dr.
Reynolds Greene officiating.
Burial was in Westview Ceme
tery.
Adair, a retired salesman, was
a member of Druid Hills Metho
dist Church and a life member
of Campbell Masonic Lodge 44
in Clinton, S. C. and the Scot
tish Rite. A native of Clinton,
he had lived in Atlanta most of
his life.
Surviving are several nieces
and nephews.
He was the son of the late
Isaac and Carrie Ropp Adair,
of Clinton.
