CHS GRADUATION SPEAKERS—Students who
made feature addresses last Sunday nieht at Clin
ton High School graduation exercises were, left to
right: Augustus (Gus) Ramage, ITT, valedictorian:
Torrence Shealv, salutatorian; Kathv Davenport,
senior class president; and Drew Trammell, sen
ior class vice-president. Graduation exercises for
13 students were held before a capacity audience
at Belk Auditorium on the Presbyterian College
campus.

Area Girls
On Dean's List
Eight Laurens County girls,
including four from the Clinton-
Joanna area, were among the
Winthrop College students named
to the Dean’s List for second se
mester of 1968-69.
Carole Jane King, Many Ann
Nabors and Suzanne Watkins, all
of Clinton, and Robbie Ann Lewis
of Joanna were among the 498
students who maintained at least
a 3.25 grade point ratio for the
semester.
Other Laurens County students
on the list are Mary Jane Adair,
Doris Maxine Templeton and
Nancy I^ee Templeton, all of Lau
rens and Brenda Mae Woods of
Gray Court.
