Clinton High Highlights BY LINWOOD COX Those longawaintedChristmas holidays have finally reached the halls of CHS. Everywhere you look, there are symbols of Christmas. The Student Council has been busy collecting food items for the Christmas baskets, while the Girls Athletic Club has been busy collecting bags of clothes. The homeroom doors were all beautifully decorated for the Christmas season, but on Wed nesday these decorations were taken down as we attended our last school day for the year. The winning doors were as follows: Mrs. Ninestein, Mrs. Sloan, Mrs. Hunter, Mrs. Galloway, andMiss Reid. This week has also been a party and present week at CHS. Clubs and classes have presented Christmas programs, and on Wednesday the CHS Chorus pre sented a Christmas Cantata. The CHS'ers were very excited about getting out for the holi days, but it will only be a few short weeks until we will again be roaming the halls of CHS. Only a few days after we return, examinations will begin and re port cards will be issued before the new semester begins. This will end the days of‘partying and begin the days of studying, es pecially for us seniors. Patients from Union are Baby Boy Wofford and Joyce W of fori Patient from Laurens is James Little. Patient from Whitmire is Mary Glenn. Patient from Cross Anchor is Nora Watson. Patient from Ora is Bessie Byrd. (wr 'WeSnome U most. GIFT SUGGESTIONS FROM YOUR CHRISTMAS STORE ..
