the Veterans Hospital in Augus
ta, Ga., Sunday.

spent Sunday in the mountains,
they visited in Clayton, Ga., and
in route home visited her aunt,
Mrs. Laura Kirby in Horse Shoe
N.C.

parents, Mr. and Mrs. L. K.
Moore in Laurens.

Mrs. Jennene Johnson, sis
ter to Miss Flo Emery, bride-
elect, Mrs. Glenn Gaskins and
Mrs. Clyde Trammell were host
esses at a party on Thursday
evening at the Lydia Community
Building following the wedding
rehearsal for Miss Emery and
groom-to-be Junior Wilson.
The wedding was on Friday.
The buffet table was covered
with a green cloth overlaid with
white organdy. A lovely arrange
ment of pink roses flanked on
either side by three branched
crystal candlelabra with pink
lighted tapers adorned the ta
ble.
Green wedding punch, cake
squares, mints and nuts were
served to the wedding party and
several invited guests.
Arrangements of roses and
glads were in the lounge, fur-
thur carrying out the pink,
green and white color scheme.

prayer service; Thursday, 7:30
p.m.; and Friday 1 p.m.

and to give in the offerings for
foreign missions.

Clinton Lions Club which honored
local law enforcement officers.
About 45 law enforcement offi
cers were guests at the dinner
meeting at MaryMusgrove Hotel.
The officers represented the
Clinton Police Dept., Laurens
County Sheriff's Dept., localState
Highway Patrolmen.
Another special guest was
Patrolman James of Easley, a na
tive of Clinton, who was named
South Carolina Highway Patrol
man of the Year.
