BRADSHAWI
REPUBLICAN FOR CONGRESS OF THE UNITED STATES
THE MAN
Charlie Bradshaw decided to seek
the Fourth Congressional seat be
cause of an unfailing optimism based
on the American Ideal. As a result of
owning a successful private business,
he has an acute awareness of the
problems of private enterprise and
the community, as well as the local,
state, and federal governments.
Charlie Bradshaw feels that the busi
ness approach is needed in govern
ment, and believes strongly in having
federal control of private business
halted.
With Charlie Bradshaw, its a matter
of ideals and principles. His country
and community have been good to
him, and he cares enough to do
something for them — and for his
fellow citizens.
He’s a fighter! He's a winner! He’s a
worker! And he stands for what's right
for the people — all the time.
Charlie Bradshaw is the man to send
to Washington, to straighten things
out . . .
THE MESSAGE
(Excerpts from a Charlie Bradshaw speech)
VIET NAM:
We are in Viet Nam, our fathers and
sons are in Viet Nam. and we must
regardless of sacrifice give to our
men in Viet Nam our every support
Support not only m supplies and
equipment but in policies which pro
vide for our men — HOPE. HOPE that
their return is foreseeable and the be
lief that their sacrifices are not in vain.
FOREIGN AID:
We cannot be all things to all people
We should help other countries in
their efforts to remain free nations
but we should also insist that those
we help know the difference between
assistance and total subsistence.
CRIME AND RIOTS:
We must insist that the people be pro
tected, that law enforcement officers
be supported, and serve notice to.one
and all that our person and property
are sacred and their destruction will
not be tolerated.
FISCAL POLICY:
We cannot continue to spend monies
which we do not have. We must insist
that our Government return to sound
business principles and discontinue
spending in excess of its income.

THE MISSION
TO PROVIDE

of South Carolina’s Fourth Congres
sional District as their representative to

the undercurrent of negativism’ in our
society — to re establish confidence in
our form of Government.
TO REPLACE
fear and uncertainty with faith and
security.
TO ESTABLISH
a new spirit for South Carolina and
America — a new and ambitious dedica
tion: a new and sincere determination.
TO DARE
to lead with legislation designed for the
good of all — never to follow sugges
tions or ideas for political gam.
TO WORK
for less confusion by reducing Govern
ment’s role m our way of life. To sim
plify — not complicate.
TO RESTORE
the "Attitude of Freedom” which has
made our country strong and productive.
TO REMIND
everyone of the great opportunities and
freedoms we have in this great land of
ours, anjd to bring back respect, grati

freedom.
TO BE
a working Congressman and a true rep
