McKee Attends
Key Club's
Convention
Pat McKee represented the
Thornwell Key Club as a dele
gate to the international Key
Club convention this summer in
Montreal, Canada.
McKee was sponsored by the
Clinton Kiwanis Club which cen
sors the Thornwell Key Club.
McKee said, 'It was a very
educational trip since it was
routed through Washington and
New York City.”
Phillip R. Kaplan, 17, of Dow
ney, Calif., was elected presi
dent of Key Club International
at that organization’s 25thannual
convention. The convention was
If you want to see happy, well
adjusted girls, just look around
Clinton. Most of these girls have,
at one time or another, belonged
to the Camp Fire Organization.
Whether in Blue Birds, Camp
Fire, Jr. High Camp Fire or
Horizon, these girls have the
same objectives which are in
stilled in them by very capable
leaders.
This program has been giving
unlimited opportunities to the
girls of Clinton for over 15 years.
At the present time there are 440
girls and leaders involved in
Camp Fire.
One of the biggest projects each
year is the summer resident
camp at Camp Greenville. This
is an excellent camp and is at
tended by many of our girls. This
year, for the first time, Camp
Fire joined the YMCA in spon
soring a day camp which was a
very big success. This, added to
many other projects, make Camp
Fire the finest program for girls
available.
Every Camp Fire girl has in-
visable treasures which she will
carry all through life.
As the father of three girls and
president of the Clinton Camp
F ire Council, I know what it
means to my girls and the girls
of Clinton.
Your generous support through
the United Fund is very much
appreciated in this most worth
while organization.
