"repeated in chair cushions. Fabric by Schumacher.

FOR SISTERS—The refreshing, airy look
'-'jQt thin attractive room depends a lot on the major decor-

and white. A matching panel of wallpaper is used as
headboard-canopies. The deep delphinium blue in the

Tall Fence Hides
Side Yard Patio
A side yard can be a fine lo
cale for a patio, and it’s an easy
spot to enclose for privacy.
On the street side, build a tall
fence that extends right out
from the corner of the house.
Match the fence pattern and
color to the house siding.
That way, the fence looks like
part of the house wall and the
house looks larger, too.
VESTED INTEREST—A handsome glen plaid cotton sets
the sportive mood for this ensemble. The pant skirt, slightly
flared for easy fit, is topped by a double-breasted vest with
three-quarter belt and back vents. Underneath, a cotton
voile blouse tied at the neck Western style. Designed by
Getty Miller for Glendora.
