In addi tion to serving recreational needs for the Clinton area, the YMCA operates a regular bus schedule between Clinton a n d Joanna to transport Joanna swimmers to the Clinton pool. -— (Photo by Bill Quarles) Army Major Chris Patte, son of Dr. Edouard Patte, 400 Pine St., Clinton, graduated from the U. S. Army CommandandGeneralStaff College regular course June 7 at Ft. Leavenworth, Kan. He was one of 1,048 officers of the U.S. Army, Navy, Marine Corps, and Air Force who grad uated from the 10-month course. The college also graduated 97 foreigh officers representing 51 nations. The Command and General Staff College is the Army’s senior tactical school. Its 10-month regular course prepares selected officers for duty as commanders and general staffofficers with the Army in the field and with Army logistical commands. Major Patte, a member of Alpha Sigma Phi fraternity, re ceived his commission through the Reserve Officers’ Training Corps program. He received a B.S. degree in 1956 and an M.S. degree in 1961 and has attended Presbyterian College, and the University of Alabama, Tusca- loosa. 2.000TH MOBILE HOME — Pal metto Homes of Laurens, Inc., re cently attained another milestone in the manufacture of mobile hous ing. Allen W. White, general manager of the firm, looks on. Fuller. Walker Al Citadel Camp CHAR LESTON - Everett Poole Fuller, son of Dr. and Mrs.R.M. I uller, 203 York St., Clinton, and Hill Walker, son of Dr. and Mrs. James L. Walker, 710 Calvert Hr., Clinton are attending The Citadel Summer Camp for Boys. The camp was founded in 1957 as a youth-development program for boys from 11 to 15 years old, and has l>een a pattern for other camps across the nation. Two hundred and fifty boys from 16 states are attending this session of the camp which began here June 9. There are two four-week ses sions of the camp. Graduation for the current session will be on July 5, and the second session will begin July 7. Miss Floyd On Dean's List Mary Ann Floyd of Joanna was on the Dean’s List at Lander Col lege for the second semester of the 1967-68 school year. Lander students must maintain an average of 2.5 quality points ■ r above for the semester to lie on the Dean’s List.
