Dr. Hammett At Hurricane Church DR. HAMMETT Dr. Horace G. Hammett will be guest speaker at Hurricane Baptist Church Sunday morning. Dr. Hammett is a 1922 grad uate of Gardner-Webb College and a 1926 graduate of Furman University. He received the Th. M. degree from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in 1932. He has done graduate work at Duke and the University of North Carolina. Dr. Hammett has pastored the First Baptist Church, William- ston; the First Baptist Church, Great Falls; the First Baptist Church, Waynesville, N.C.; and Temple Baptist Church, Durham, N. C. He has served as Assis tant General Secretary-Trea surer and now is serving as General Secretary-Treasurer of the South Carolina Baptist Con vention.
