They are members of Broad Street Methodist
Church where he is a past president of the Sunday
school Class and a past secretary of the Board
of Stewards. He s also a shriner.
After graduating from Laurens High School,
Lonnie worked with his father, a car dealer, for
three years. He then worked with Easterby Motor
Co. until joining the armed services in 1941. Lon
nie strted with us in IWjf) and has been with
us since.
He Has sold Oldsmobiles for 23 years and Dod
ges since I960. In 1950 he attended the General
Motors Technical Training (enter in Losing,
Mich., for dealer management.
