There are 100 sanctioned
members in the association
There is a league of 10
teams with five members
each which bowl every Mon
day night. The Coffee Break
League bowls at 9:30 a.m. on
Wednesdays and each ‘Wed
nesday night, the Mixed Dou
bles League bowls, starting at
7:30. On Friday night, mem
bers of the Ma and Pa League
bowl, starting at 7:30.
The Scratch League bowls
on Monday nights, starting at
8:30, and the Classic Scratch
League bowls on Sunday af
ternoons, starting at 3 o’clock.
The State Tournament is
scheduled in Anderson March
22-23-24, March 30-13 and
April 5-6-7. The Mix Ups will
bowl in the State Tournament
March 30-31 and also will
bowl in the Women’s Inter
national Bowling Tournament
May 8-9 in San Antonio, Tex.

The Thornwell girls were
eliminated Tuesday night in
the first round of the North
western 1-B basketball tour
nament at Hillerest High
School.
Oakway handed the Thorn-
well team a 44 34 loss. Fow
